Terms and Conditions

Standard terms and conditions are below these additional T's and C's which are currently in place due to Covid-19. Please read both sets:

Scone Ball Court - Terms and Conditions of Play with regards Covid-19

 

 

  1. Play on the ball court will be limited to booked groups only. To book please check availability at www.sconeballcourt.co.uk
  2. Each team must provide details of a Covid Co-ordinator before confirmation of a booking. This is to ensure a contact between both the Scone Village Association and user.
  3. It is the Covid Co-ordinators responsibility to ensure associated ball court users understand their individual responsibilities and adhere to the Scottish Governments guidelines on protecting themselves and others. Details available at https://www.gov.scot/
  4. No user should partake in outdoor contact sport if they show symptoms of Covid-19. These include a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss, or change to, their sense of smell or taste.
  5. Any users with underlying health issues are not advised to partake in outdoor contact sport.
  6. There will be a maximum of 12 adult users (18+) on the pitch at any time. Please allow for previous groups to fully exit ball court before entering facility.
  7. Players may only enter via the small gate and exit via the double gate.
  8. Keys and light tokens will be made available to users prior to play. A coded key box has been installed within the existing token meter box to collect and return keys. Users will be informed of the code required to obtain keys from key box prior to play.
  9. Hand sanitising station available upon entering.
  10. Groups are advised to bring hand sanitiser for personal use and antibacterial wipes for cleaning door handles upon entering / exiting and wiping down goals after use. Users are kindly asked to clear court of any litter also to ensure court ready for use by following users.
  11. Finished groups should look to exit the area around the ball court promptly whilst observing physical distancing guidelines as set out by the Scottish Government. Details available at https://www.gov.scot/
  12. Final group of the evening will be responsible for locking facility and returning keys. Calendar available at www.sconeballcourt.com
  13. Payment changes – Cash payment is no longer preferred and payment should be made via bank transfer to Scone Village Association – details available to users upon booking.

 

 

Scone Village Association reserve the right to revise, amend or replace these Terms of Conditions.

Scone Village Association will not accept any liability in the event of any person or person contracting Covid-19 whilst making use of the ball court.

Standard terms and conditions, outside of Covid-19 T's and C's

 

We request that all users treat this facility with respect and leave it litter free and ready for use by following users

All users must adhere to the following rules while on the court:

- Wear clean appropriate footwear

- Plastic studs and plastic blades allowed

- Keep surface free from mud and debris

- Keep surface free from leaves, weeds and moss

- Keep gate closed

- Take care when moving equipment

 

Absolutely no...

...chewing gum, food or drinks (except water)

...animals inside the fence

...spectators on the playing surface

...cycles, skateboards or roller blades

...metal studs, metal blades or spiked shoes

 

Cancellation

If the court hire is cancelled a charge of £10.00 will be levied if the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the booked time.

Disclaimer/Safety

Although Scone Village Association inspect the playing surface at regular intervals, it is essential that all users of the Ball Court inspect the surface prior to using the court and remove any foreign objects found.

The Scone Village Association will not accept any liability for injury to any person or persons making use of the Ball Court irrespective of the cause or causes.

 

Floodlights

The planning conditions applicable to the floodlights are that the lights must be extinguished by 9.30pm each evening. It does not matter how many tokens are inserted, the lights will switch off at 9:30pm.

 

An emergency light will remain on for 10 minutes to permit safe exit from the court.
